Jesse spent a considerable amount of time comprehensively documenting the newly reopened Cathay Pacific The Bridge lounge. He specifically aimed to capture all the details of the lounge, given that it has been newly renovated with new facilities and features. This required a bit more time to fully enjoy it. Furthermore, to confirm relative locations, he had to take the time to sketch a simple map. Most importantly, he sampled all the food available. The entire area features large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an excellent view for appreciating apron operations up close.
Located at the core hub of Terminal 1 of Hong Kong Airport, it is convenient for moving around.
The Bridge is currently Cathay Pacific’s latest-operating lounge in Hong Kong (all other lounges currently operate until 00:30).
**You are not restricted to choosing only the left or right side after entering; you can freely go to either the left or the right.**
The Bridge VIP Lounge at ‘Yee Lien Tong’ offers TYPE-C charging ports at all seats, as it is a newly renovated area.

- Business or First Class passengers traveling on Cathay Pacific and oneworld
- Cathay Pacific Silver tier and above members, oneworld Sapphire and Emerald members.
- First Class and Cathay Diamond Card holders are able to use the exclusive private rooms within the lounge. This area is currently not open to Oneworld Emerald members.

The Bridge : Reception

When departing from Terminal 1, the fastest way to reach TEH BRIDGE VIP Lounge is by taking the Airport Transit System to Gate 35. After going up the escalator (there is also an elevator), you will see the entrance to the lounge.

重新開幕的The Bridge貴賓室入口，在入口處就會有一位服務人員協助引導 — The newly reopened The Bridge lounge has a service staff member at the entrance to assist with guidance.

入口的接待處，有非常多組的人員在這邊接待旅客左邊跟右邊可以自行切換前往，不用選邊，左邊用餐完畢可以去右邊 — The reception area at the entrance has many groups of staff attending to travelers. You can switch between the left and right sides to proceed; there’s no need to choose a side. After finishing your meal on the left, you can go to the right.

接待處左側長廊 — The long corridor on the left side of the reception area

左側基本就是中式餐點的區域，淋浴間也在這一側還有只有在THE BRIDGE才有的百味坊 — The left side is basically the area for Chinese cuisine, and the shower rooms are also on this side. There is also the Baiweifang, which is only available at THE BRIDGE.

接待處右側側長廊 — The side corridor to the right of the reception area

右側的區域則是西餐/國際餐食的區域酒吧以及現煮咖啡也都位於這個區域 — The area on the right is for Western/International cuisine. The bar and freshly brewed coffee are also located in this area.

連通廊道也設有座位區域 — Connected corridors also feature seating areas.

比較少人在廊道駐足，反而是人最少的區域 — Few people lingered in the corridor, which was the least crowded area.

必須說貴賓室的服務人員眼力都很好，都分的出來你是要離開還是單純要穿過去拿東西 — The lounge staff must have excellent eyesight, as they can tell whether you are leaving or just passing through to grab something.

在走廊以及貴賓室的各角落都有看板提供航班資訊 — Signs providing flight information are located in various corners of the concourse and the VIP lounge.

Luggage storage area

行李置物櫃位於廊廳的兩側，可以將短時間不需要使用到的行李暫放在這個區域 — Luggage lockers are located on both sides of the lobby, where you can temporarily store luggage that you will not need for a short period of time.

裡面設置有可以設定密碼的行李櫃 — Lockers with password setting are available inside.

The Bridge “Yi Lian Tang”: North Side / Right Wing

Conference room

On both the left and right sides, there are small meeting room spaces like this, semi-open spaces, no reservations needed, first-come, first-served.

另外一個小桌則是一個三人的小桌 — Another small table is a table for three.

First Class and Cathay Diamond Exclusive Lounge

To provide an additional option for First Class and Cathay Diamond members, The Bridge has a dedicated area within the lounge, as it lacks a separate First Class zone like The Pier. Given its convenient location, this exclusive area is specifically for First Class and Cathay’s own Diamond cardholders (only these two tiers are granted access; Oneworld Emerald members will need to proceed to other First Class lounges). Access to this area is by escort, and doors will be opened by dedicated staff.

The service, being of a top-tier standard, is provided by a dedicated attendant within the private room, offering beverage service at your seat. Within this space, there is a proprietary drinks menu, and in terms of density, it is quite tranquil.

Rest area

有單人以及多人的空間 — There are spaces for individuals and for groups.

空間整體除了有綠色植栽點綴之外 — The space, in its entirety, is adorned with green plants.

傑西非常喜歡靠窗這一排的空間，可以直接看到機坪的作業 — Jesse really likes the row of seats by the window, as it offers a direct view of the tarmac operations.

房間的另外一角，蠻多家族朋友，會選擇在這個區域休息的 — In another corner of the room, many family friends choose to rest in this area.

First and Cathay Diamond Exclusive lounge in-seat service: Exclusive wine list

放在一旁的酒水車，則是會由包廂內專人提供酒水的服務 — The drinks trolley, placed aside, will be served by a dedicated attendant within the private room.

An exclusive special wine list is provided in the private room. These selections are curated choices and the list may change at any time. The current alcohol options are from June 2025. As can be seen on the wine list, it possesses a certain standard, but Jesse’s capacity was insufficient to drink more than one glass of champagne.

**Champagne**

Taittinger Brut Millésimé, 2016
- This is a vintage Champagne from the Champagne region of France, produced only in the years when the grape quality is at its best.
- After a long period of cellar aging, it possesses complex aromas and delicate bubbles. The palate is elegant with a long finish.

- From the renowned Champagne house of Bollinger, this is a fresh and elegant non-vintage Champagne.

- This is a lively and expressive pink champagne.
- Emitting the aroma of raspberries, cherries, and blackcurrants.

**White Wine**

Maison Trénel Mâcon Villages, 2022
- Produced in the Mâconnais region of Burgundy, France, from Chardonnay grapes.
- Aroma of white flowers, citrus, and fresh fruit. It is refreshing on the palate with pleasant acidity, making it an easy-drinking white wine.
Craggy Range Te Muna Sauvignon Blanc, 2022
- Sauvignon Blanc from the Martinborough region of New Zealand.
- Complex aromas of citrus, passionfruit, and a hint of herbaceousness. Rich on the palate with mineral notes and a long finish.
One Pound Per Acre Chardonnay, 2022
- This Chardonnay from South Australia is named after the price paid for the vineyard land when it was first purchased.
- Flavors of tropical fruit, citrus, and a hint of toasted bread. The palate is fresh with a medium body.
Planeta Cometa, 2021
- From the Italian island of Sicily, made from Fiano grapes.
- This wine has a rich aroma with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and floral nuances. It has a full-bodied palate with minerality and aging potential.

**Red Wine**

Chateau Noaillac Cru Bourgeois Superieur, 2019 – Chateau Noaillac Cru Bourgeois Superieur, 2019
- From the Médoc region of Bordeaux, France, rated as a Cru Bourgeois.
- The aroma is rich, featuring blackberry, blueberry, and plum, accompanied by notes of rose petals and stems.
**St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz, 2021**
- A classic Shiraz red wine from the Barossa Valley, Australia.
- Full-bodied, with flavors of blackberry, chocolate, and spice. Smooth tannins and a long finish make this a rich and well-balanced red wine.
**Palliser Estate Pinot Noir, 2022**
- Produced in Martinborough, New Zealand, it is one of the representative works of Pinot Noir from this region.
- The typical aromas of red berries, cherries, and spices. The palate is elegant and delicate, with silky smooth tannins.
**La Regista Chianti Riserva, 2019**
- This Chianti red wine from Tuscany, Italy, comes from the winery of the renowned musician Sting.
- After a longer aging period, complex flavors of ripe red fruits, leather, and spices. Full-bodied and rich on the palate.

**Sweet Wine and Port**

**Domaine Cauhapé Ballet d’Octobre Jurancon, 2021 – Domaine Cauhapé October Ballet Sweet White Wine 2021**
- A sweet white wine from the Jurançon appellation in the Southwest of France.
- Using late-harvest grapes, it is full of the sweet flavors of tropical fruits, honey, and apricots. The acidity is refreshing, sweet but not cloying.
Dow’s LBV Port, 2018 – Dow’s Late Bottled Vintage Port 2018
- This is a Late Bottled Vintage Port from Portugal.
- It has rich dark fruit, chocolate, and spice flavors. Compared to other ports, the finish is slightly dry. It can be enjoyed immediately after bottling and does not require extended aging.

最後傑西選的是泰廷爵年份香檳，由服務人員以桌邊方式提供 — Jesse ultimately chose Taittinger Comtes de Champagne, which was served tableside by the staff.

Taste House

The Cathay Pacific lounge features dining tables at a suitable height in each themed dining area, separated from the rest areas for convenient dining. This height is also quite suitable for use as a work area. The newly renovated Cathay Pacific lounge is designed with such tables near the dining areas to allow passengers to dine conveniently nearby. After dining, they can switch to other types of seating to rest according to their needs.

Dining space

在這個區域提供的屬於是西式國際化的餐點 — Here are a few options, depending on the exact nuance you want to convey, while staying true to the original meaning:**Option 1 (Most direct and common):**> The meals provided in this area are Western-style international cuisine.**Option 2 (Slightly more formal):**> Within this area, Western-style international meals are offered.**Option 3 (Focus on the type of food):**> This area offers Western-style international food.All of these translations accurately reflect the original sentence without adding any extra information. The phrase “屬於是” is translated as “are” or “are offered” to maintain the original meaning of belonging or being provided.

餐桌數量很多，也方便旅客在此停留直接取用餐點 — There are many tables, making it convenient for travelers to stop and dine directly.

Provide meals (Western-style)

取餐台這一區也有非常多的熱食選擇 — The pick-up counter area also has a lot of hot food options.

普羅旺斯蔬菜佐起司及青醬 — Provençal vegetables with cheese and pesto

有三種不同的酥皮餡餅：羊肉、薯餅蔬菜、起司波菜 — There are three different types of pasties: lamb, potato and vegetable, and cheese and spinach.

“Solo Chair”

For friends looking for a place to rest, the high partition design offers passengers extra privacy. The seats themselves are quite comfortable, making them very suitable for those who want to lie down for a bit.

這一區非常的熱門，傑西好不容易卡到一個時段沒有人用才有辦法拍的到空景 — This area is very popular. Jesse was finally able to get a shot of the empty scene after managing to snag a time slot when no one was using it.

The Bar

在吧台可以直接看到一旁停機坪忙碌的地勤人員在進行航班裝載的作業 — At the bar, you can directly see the busy ground staff on the adjacent tarmac carrying out flight loading operations.

前面一張不清楚，但這一張夠清楚吧，這個位置可以看的到07R跑道的起飛 — The previous one wasn’t clear, but this one is clear enough, right? From this position, you can see the takeoff on runway 07R.

國泰還有另外兩個經典無酒精的調酒比較容易被忽略一個是左邊的Ginger Forest 喜歡摩奇多的朋友應該都會蠻喜歡這樣的氣泡口感右邊是Orange Dream 以橘子為底的風味，喝起來也很清爽，兩個都可以點看看 — Cathay has two other classic non-alcoholic cocktails that are easily overlooked. One is the Ginger Forest on the left. Friends who like Mojitos should also enjoy this fizzy texture. The one on the right is the Orange Dream, with an orange base flavor. It’s also very refreshing to drink. You can try ordering both.

發現蠻多外國朋友非常喜歡這樣的空間，一來貴賓室就往這邊跑 — Many foreign friends really like this kind of space, and as soon as they enter the VIP room, they head this way.

這個區域都是高腳椅，看的到機坪的落地窗 — This area has high chairs and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the tarmac.

吧台區域屬於相當熱門的區域，太晚來還不一定卡的到空位 — The bar area is a rather popular spot; if you arrive too late, you might not be able to snag a seat.

由專門的咖啡師在現場提供拉花現煮咖啡的服務 — On-site latte art coffee service provided by specialized baristas.

結果還為了要看咖啡師可以拉出什麼東西，咖啡師換班消化的差不多之後，還點了另外一杯，結果這次咖啡師幫我拉的是可愛的狗狗 — The result was that to see what the barista could pull, after the barista’s shift had mostly passed and they had digested, I ordered another cup. As it turned out, this time the barista pulled a cute dog for me.

一旁還有提供簡單的茶點 — Simple refreshments were also provided.

The popular seats are definitely the window seats, so as soon as you arrive at the lounge, find the space you want to use. Some of the spots with views of the tarmac are truly very popular.

這個貴賓室跟一旁的頭等包廂，有非常類似的風格，熱帶的植栽加上大幅的畫作 — This VIP lounge, along with the First Class suites beside it, features a very similar style, with tropical plants and large paintings.

整個空間提供了以柵欄提供足夠的通透感 — The entire space offers sufficient transparency through the use of fences.

The meals provided on the left side of the reception area are Chinese-style, and the shower rooms are also located there.

Conference room

切入這個轉角就可以看到屬於左翼的會議小空間 — Upon turning this corner, you will see a small meeting space belonging to the left wing.

Flavor House NODDLE BAR

國泰航空貴賓室經典的NODDLE BAR 風味坊，提供了多元的餐點，現點現做。 — Cathay Pacific’s lounges feature the classic Noodle Bar, offering a diverse range of freshly prepared dishes.

雲吞湯麵（也可以點雲吞湯）擔擔麵、𰻝𰻝麵（發音為BIANG BIANG ㄅㄧㄤˊ ㄅㄧㄤˊ麵）則是THE BRIDGE才有的另外傑西還蠻喜歡菜苗銀芽炒麵 — Wonton noodle soup (you can also order wonton soup) and dan dan noodles. Biang Biang noodles (pronounced BIANG BIANG) are only available at THE BRIDGE. Additionally, Jesse quite likes the fried noodles with bean sprouts and chives.

點心類也有提供牛肉球、豬肉燒賣、素菜餃、黑芝麻包 — Dim sum items also include beef balls, pork siu mai, vegetable dumplings, and black sesame buns.

非常港式的用餐空間 — A very Hong Kong-style dining space

蠻多旅客都會優先選擇這一區，是一個非常熱門的餐飲選擇 — Many travelers prioritize this area; it is a very popular dining choice.

傑西為了大家，三個都點 — Jesse ordered all three for everyone.

𰻝𰻝麵（發音為BIANG BIANG ㄅㄧㄤˊ ㄅㄧㄤˊ麵） — Xiang Xiang Noodles (pronounced BIANG BIANG noodles)

菜苗銀芽炒麵，這個傑西很喜歡耶，加上辣椒跟醬油就很好吃 — Jesse really likes bean sprout and silver sprout noodles, it’s delicious with chili and soy sauce.

Shower area

There are a total of nine shower rooms here, including one accessible shower room. The overall space is slightly larger than THE PIER.

一旁則是置物空間 — On the side is the storage space.

在淋浴間內提供的則是bamford 沐浴備品 — The Bamford toiletries are provided in the shower.

The Hundred Flavors Pavilion

左側走到底就是百味坊 — Continue to the end on the left, and you’ll find Bai Wei Fang.

這個區域的用餐空間也蠻大的，如果不喜歡人太多的話，可以來這邊用餐 — The dining area in this area is also quite large. If you don’t like crowded places, you can come here to dine.

一樣是滿滿的落地窗，可以看的到地勤作業 — Just like before, with plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the ground handling operations.

在THE BRIDGE 最受歡迎的區域，永遠是最靠近窗邊的區域落地窗加上可以看到的飛機的完整視野，喜歡飛機的朋友一定會很喜歡這一間貴賓室。 — In THE BRIDGE’s most popular area, it’s always the area closest to the window. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a full view of planes, friends who like planes will definitely love this lounge.

因為是屬於THE BRIDGE 中才有的餐點，所以傑西全部都點 — Because it’s a dish exclusive to THE BRIDGE, Jesse ordered all of them.

吃完這一輪，讓傑西得額外多花上好幾個小時，在機場裡面奔跑才能夠消化，The Bridge 的美食實在是太豐盛了 — After this round, Jesse will have to spend several extra hours running around the airport to digest it all. The food at The Bridge is just too plentiful.

肉夾膜則是來此必點，傑西在這邊停留的時候幾乎每個旅客都點上一份一旁還有拍黃瓜以及蔥油餅 — Roujiamo is a must-order when you’re here. Almost every traveler orders one when Jesse stays here. Besides it, there are also smashed cucumber salad and scallion pancakes.

點心部分則是牛肉丸、燒賣、菜餃（跟嚐味坊一樣） — As for the dim sum, there were beef balls, siu mai, and vegetable dumplings (the same as those at Chang Wei Fang).

另外還有芝麻球、跟叉燒飯團 — In addition, there are sesame balls and char siu rice balls.

Rest stop charging station

目前在 The Bridge 有小桌子的桌位，只要把扶手往外拉，就有充電區域，新版本的則是提供USB TYPE-C / USB TYPE-A/ 英式插頭。 — At The Bridge, there are currently table seats with small tables. By pulling the armrest outwards, you can access the charging area. The new version provides USB TYPE-C / USB TYPE-A / UK power outlets.
