Terminal 2 serves as EVA Air’s headquarters, and being their headquarters, you can always expect the most comprehensive facilities for any airline-related services. EVA Air offers four different levels of VIP lounges in Terminal 2. To gather complete information, I took the opportunity during the gap before boarding to visit all four lounges. After a thorough look, I can summarize the differences based on the variety of facilities, crowd density, and the quality of the food provided. Of course, one of the standout features is their Garden VIP Lounge, where you can find EVA Air’s famous beef noodle soup. Among EVA Air’s VIP lounges, this offering is exclusive to the Garden VIP Lounge. Now, they not only offer the classic braised beef noodle soup but also options like spicy dumplings and minced meat rice.
EVA Air has four levels of VIP lounges at Taoyuan Airport, and I’ve compiled the information for everyone here. Since EVA Air exclusively operates at Terminal 2 of Taoyuan Airport, all their VIP lounges are located on the fourth floor, after passing through security and immigration on the departure level.
- The Club: Available for EVA Air Silver Card members, it is currently reopened for member use as of April 2023.
- Opening Hours : 05:30~10:00 and 16:00~21:30
- The Star (Left): Available for EVA Air Gold Card members and Star Alliance Gold Card members, regardless of cabin class. It offers reclining sofas for resting and sleeping (no partitions). It is currently the largest VIP lounge among EVA Air’s Taoyuan Airport lounges.
- Opening Hours : 04:30~23:30
- The Infinity (Right): This is the Business Class lounge, and its level and variety of meals are slightly higher than The Star. It is exclusively available for passengers flying in the Business Class of Star Alliance member airlines. If you need more relaxation space, it is recommended to dine here first and then go to The Star for rest.
- Opening Hours : 04:30~23:30
- The Garden: Available for Diamond Card members and passengers flying in Business Class with high-tier partner credit cards (American Express Centurion Card, American Express EVA Air Platinum Card, Cathay United Bank EVA Air Infinite Card).

The Garden
The EVA Air Garden Lounge is located opposite The Star and The Infinity. Sometimes, people may mistakenly enter it. These photos were taken on several occasions, and they do not qualify for entry using the EVA Air Diamond Card, as it’s quite challenging to achieve. You would need to fly almost daily to attain Diamond Card status. Therefore, access to this VIP lounge is granted through the benefits of the EVA Air Cathay United Bank co-branded credit card.
In addition to made-to-order beef noodle soup and spicy dumplings, this lounge also offers traditional breakfast egg pancakes in the morning. The beverage selection includes cold-pressed juices and sparkling water. Starting in April, they have introduced more hot food options for Garden VIP Lounge patrons.
