When it comes to resort-style hotels, the number of articles tends to multiply because there’s so much to cover, and everyone’s interests vary. This post focuses on the public facilities within ‘1955 Tokyo Bay.’ However, they have extensive facilities, especially the expansive ‘2nd ROOM’ public space on the second floor, which I’ll dedicate a separate article to.

Given its location in a bayside resort area, convenient transportation is crucial. Not only is it easy to get to Tokyo Disney Resort, but it’s also very convenient to reach the nearest JR Keiyo Line station, Shin-Urayasu.

Complimentary Shuttle Service

No reservations are required for any of the shuttle buses due to the frequent service offered by 1955 Tokyo Bay. Considering the large property and the number of children on board, the buses travel at a moderate pace. Please refer to the estimated travel times below. The hotel currently operates two routes: one to Tokyo Disney Resort and another to JR Shin-Urayasu Station.

• From the hotel to Tokyo Disneyland: Approximately 25 minutes
• From the hotel to Tokyo DisneySea: Approximately 35 minutes
• From the hotel to Shin-Urayasu Station: Approximately 12 minutes

Complimentary Shuttle Bus: To Tokyo Disney Resort

The buses will first arrive at Tokyo Disneyland and then proceed to Tokyo DisneySea. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes, and the buses do not travel at high speeds.

As I only visited Tokyo DisneySea this time, here are the boarding locations for returning from DisneySea (GPS location). For Tokyo Disneyland, the boarding location is (GPS location). It’s crucial to note that you must board at the designated spots, as the parking areas are vast. Please pay close attention to this.

Complimentary Shuttle Bus: JR Keiyo Line Shin-Urayasu Station

This is the closest train station to the hotel. The station area offers numerous shopping options, including a large AEON MALL, and a good selection of restaurants. Traveling to and from the station is a vital service for guests. (Actual boarding/alighting GPS location)

Getting to Narita Airport (NRT)

Another option is to take the Narita Express (NEX) directly to Tokyo Station and then transfer to the Keiyo Line to Shin-Urayasu. However, Tokyo Station can be complex, so this route is not recommended for those unfamiliar with it. The walk to the Keiyo Line platform within Tokyo Station is also quite long. Consider the transfer method mentioned above.

Additionally, there are four direct limousine buses daily from Narita Airport that will take you straight to the hotel entrance. If your flight schedule aligns, this is also a convenient option. Getting to Haneda Airport (HND)

By Train (requires two transfers): Take the Tokyo Monorail from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho Station, then transfer to the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer again to the JR Keiyo Line to Shin-Urayasu Station, and then take the complimentary hotel shuttle. The total travel time is approximately 90 minutes.

Airport Limousine Bus: Take the airport limousine bus from Haneda Airport towards the Shin-Urayasu area and alight at the “Bayside Hotel Area” stop. It’s about a 4-minute walk from there.
