他依照的不是各銀行公告的牌告即期匯率，因為信用卡走的是信用卡交易網路，所以每一間信用卡組織都有自己公告的匯率，信用卡組織就是VISA/MASTER/JCB這些單位，以他們的匯率計算完成之後，再來依照每一間銀行規定加收1.5％-2％不等的海外交易手續費。
- 這個匯率一天只有一個固定的數字，不會跟即時外匯一樣在盤中上上下下波動，所以通常今天是反應昨天的匯率。
- 每個組織都有公告匯率的網站，列表如下。
- 信用卡交易可以分成交易日、商店請款日、（還有入帳起息日）
- VISA / MASTER：取得交易當天的匯率
- JCB：商家跟信用卡公司請款日
VISA 卡：以交易日當日匯率計算
自 2021 年 4 月起，VisaNet 透過採用授權時的外幣匯率進行清算和結算，對貨幣轉換進行了改善。如果出於任何原因，Visa 無法使用授權的匯率進行貨幣轉換，Visa 則將採用交易處裡當下可用的匯率。您的銀行可能會也可能不會使用此匯率換算工具顯示的費率向您收費，並且可能針對國外交易收取額外費用。。如果您的交易是由商家或 ATM 業者轉換，則不適用此匯率換算工具所顯示的匯率。
Master Card ：以交易日當日匯率計算

Currency conversion rates are specific to the date and time your bank authorizes the transaction (which generally occurs at the point of sale/interaction). If Mastercard is unable to apply the currency conversion rate at authorization, Mastercard will apply the currency conversion rate at the date and time the transaction is processed. If your transaction is converted by the merchant or ATM operator, Mastercard currency conversion rates will not apply. This will usually occur when you select to pay in your card’s currency as opposed to the currency of the merchant or ATM
