In today’s competitive hotel landscape, breakfast offerings are a major battleground. Overall, I found their breakfast to be meticulously prepared and thoughtful, featuring the seafood I was craving. The restaurant serving breakfast at ‘1955 Tokyo Bay’ is simply named “Restaurant.” To cater to travelers eager to head to Tokyo Disneyland early, their breakfast hours are conveniently extended, starting as early as 6:00 AM. If your chosen package doesn’t include breakfast, you can easily purchase a meal voucher at the self-checkout kiosk nearby.
During breakfast hours, the restaurant entrance located next to the second-floor counter opens. The room key icon then moves to the left. Additionally, the curtain in the background on the right side of the photo conceals an extra dining area (which transforms into a general lounge area after noon).Located on the second floor, the restaurant features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.Walking further into the restaurant reveals a stunning ocean view. The food stations are centrally located within the restaurant. Popular items are prepared in duplicate to ensure quick access for guests.
Notably, the service staff are dressed in uniforms reminiscent of American diners from the 1950s.
Dining Signage
Thoughtfully designed, thick acrylic signs clearly indicate the service status for staff.
If your stay package does not include breakfast, you can purchase meal vouchers on-site.
Buffet Selection
This section is my favorite, featuring Japanese staples like grated yam, onsen tamago (hot spring eggs), and tamagoyaki (rolled omelet).Another station offers the same dishes for guests to quickly grab.

Made-to-Order Selections
These are the restaurant’s signature breakfast items: the Reuben sandwich and French toast.Reuben Sandwich: A sandwich filled with shredded beef, sautéed cabbage, and cheddar cheese. The other signature dish is the Kaisendon, a seafood bowl featuring salmon, tuna, and scallops.
What I Ate
On the first day, wanting to try a little of everything, I ended up with a very full plate and was completely stuffed. The Reuben sandwich and French toast are served in smaller portions.
My Kaisendon also came with added grated yam.Besides smoked salmon, there were also tamagoyaki and pickles. And of course, I couldn’t miss the natto! On the second day, my meal was simpler, focusing solely on the Kaisendon. My version also included an onsen tamago.
