在桃園機場有很多地方可以直接購入上網卡，也可以預先上網購買 ESIM卡。
因為法規的關係，台灣三大業者都必需要提供證件才可以申請門號，所以並沒有電子化購買的選項，如果有需要的話可以考慮海外業者提供的上網卡。
You may purchase the SIM card in the T1/T2. It is very easy to find it, and there is more than one location. For iPhone users, you may consider using Esim, which you can have the QRCODE to install once you arrive.
- Chunghwa Telcom Esim ( pick up at AIRPORT counter)
- If you plan to use a Taiwan operator’s sim card, you must provide a personal ID according to local law requirements. so there is no Esim/ direct option for the Tawian operator. However, you may purchase the roaming internet SIM provided by an overseas provider.
- DJB TAIWAN CARD / DJB台灣卡 （中文Chinese ESIM）
- KLOOK NPN TAIWAN ESIM (email delivery)
Prepaid Card / Internet package
There 3 operators in Taiwan, basically if you only stay in the city. there is no big difference between those three. If you plan to go to an area with fewer people, it is recommended that you use Chunghwa Telecom, because its base stations are more in the suburbs.
If you would like to purchase the internet service from those 3 operators, you may need to provide the passport onsite inorder to have the sim/esim card. This is the legal requirement by the Taiwan government.
For your information, I personally use Taiwan Mobile. in most of case, you don’t need the 5g network since 4g in Taiwan is enough for you.
